We wanted to take a quick tour of Ho Chi Minh city. We found out the Hop-on Hop-off bus was a good option. We could enjoy the city views sitting on top of a bus. There is also an option to sit below in an Air conditioned setting.
There is a blue route and a red one. We decided to take the red route which starts at the Saigon central post office and passes through popular spots like Ba Son Bridge, Saigon Zoo, War museum, Ben Thanh market and Bitexo Tower (sky deck). The tour lasted for an hour and ended at the Opera house.

Best time of the day: Evening tour at about 4:30 PM is cooler and pleasant. You can also catch a glipmse of the vibrant night lights of the city.
